Nothing can stop time, however, what can be done is learn to manage it. Work consumes most of the average person’s day and becomes an obstacle to accomplishing his personal goals. The question is: are individuals wasting their time or getting the most of it? Wasted time equals to wasted energy that can be used for different activities; for example, watching TV can take away several hours of a day that could be used instead for doing something that will get people closer to their goals. In the business world, this same phenomenon greatly affects employees’ development, for what companies’ productivity gets hit.

For Marrgon, this issue is a top priority, so founders started by defining what productivity meant to them: “how much quality work can be done in a given amount of time.”; so the company announced that what it looks for in employees is their ability to finish tasks efficiently, with no need of being pushing behind them, but trusting in their responsibility and attitude towards delivering quality work. Founders, Miguel Alejandro and Miguel Angel, also commented that part of Marrgon’s responsibility is to link people with areas they’re passionate about in order to promote personal growth in each employee who works in the company.

Finally, it was announced that Marrgon will be “slow to hire and quick to fire” with the purpose of growing as lean as possible. Both Miguels believe that part of the secret to success lies on reducing unnecessary and redundant tasks and employees, for what they have established a sequence of actions they would lastly like to share: “ eliminate, automate, delegate.” Marrgon’s personnel is recruited based on the results they give to the company; in other words, the business does not look at what someone knows, but what he is able to do with the things he knows.
