In the online world, reviews are a way of expressing the experience a person had with a given product, service, or company and they facilitate communication between consumers that helps them in the decision making process when evaluating a possible purchase. Conscious of this important factor, Marrgon decided, since the first week of the product launch, to offer it at a reduced price in order to promote a buying decision in people and influence them into leaving a review after having used the Cell Phone Holder for a couple of days.

Last week, the company received a 5 star review from one of Amazon’s top 1,000 reviewers. What does this label mean? Amazon rewards its consumers with this badge when they’ve contributed to the community by writing quality reviews which people have voted helpful for a variety of products; in other words, this persons must have customers’ approval as well as Amazons’. Marrgon’s product received from this user a 4 minute video review too, giving an added value to her comment and, therefore, to the holder being sold as buyers are now able to see the product being used by a person and not only placed in a picture. Founders, brothers Miguel Alejandro and Miguel Angel, are happy they’ve been able to achieve this level of customer satisfaction and are compromised in maintaining it.

Reviews are a double-edged sword, they can launch a product to the top or make it fall to the lowest level; either way, it depends directly on the product’s quality and service provided by the company. This positive ratings that have been achieved, represent a new milestone for Marrgon, which has the expectation that these will help it achieve a kind of “word of mouth” marketing followed by an increase in sales.
