Golden Canary Was Added to the Site as a Subsidiary Brand Together With its Products

Being a small business and going through numerous changes during the course of its first year of operation, Marrgon had left behind for a while its website, which showed products it didn’t sell anymore and content that was completely out of date. Founders shared this was not an act of irresponsibility towards the business, rather a challenge for a company of Marrgon’s size; being both brothers, Alejandro and Miguel, responsible for most of the business’s tasks, they had focused their attention mainly on their products and are now finally having the time to update their site and announcing the future plans they have for it.

First of all, they included in their site their new brand “Golden Canary”, which still doesn’t have a web address for its own, but it’s in Marrgon’s objectives to provide it with one as soon as revenue allows it. Alejandro and Miguel considered this was the most important step to take, as all their focus is now primarily on getting the brand known and a good place to start was obviously through the parent company’s website. While doing the necessary updates, Alejandro took advantage of the situation and started adding some characteristics and keywords for the page’s SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for it to start ranking in the main search engines of the web.

Although all these small tweaks and changes still leave Marrgon with a humble website, founders commented they’re not concerned about it as this project isn’t yet in their priority list, since they plan on leveraging the power of Amazon for still quite a while. Instead, they are currently working on getting a third copper rain chain to the market, activity where they find passion and considered themselves to be good at; situation that makes them aware of the importance of a specialized team for each business area. Therefore, they now plan to get someone into Marrgon who works mainly with website design and optimization during the course of 2016.
